ZooChip is an FDX-B transponder made by AEG, one of the leading microchip manufacturers in the world. It is a 'chip' that particularly addresses the zoo and wildlife sector's uncertainty of what can or should be used for identity marking Annex A and Annex B regulated species.

The ZooChip FDX-B transponder is
fully ISO 11784, 11785
compliant

ZooChip is supplied by The Pet Chip Company Ltd. That company, through it's zoos division, specialises in supplying micro-transponders, transponder readers, implanters and other equipment to zoos, wildlife parks, aquaria and other organisations concerned with the identity marking of animals, particularly endangered species, for captive breeding programme purposes and wildlife research. We also work with animal sanctuaries and organisations identifying free-flying 'captive' birds. e.g. parrots and birds of prey that may have become 'lost'.

The ZooChip FDX-B transponder is
fully ISO 11784, 11785
compliant
