Raptors & other avians

Increasingly and most sensibly, more and more avians, particularly parrots and hawks, are being microchipped
in case of theft or loss when free flying.  

Parrots are very desirable and of high value as are hawks and owls of all types and any responsible owner
will want to make sure that is the prize bird does go missing it will have the very best chance of being returned home
when found.  Closed leg rings are fine but can be easily removed by the unscrupulous and if your bird is not chipped
a quick snip with some wire cutters and your bird is suddenly someone else's.
